JUPEBIM is now a National Member of WASLI (World Association of Sign Language Interpreters Association)! WASLI is “committed to the development of the profession of Sign Language Interpreting worldwide”
Our Association aims to bring together Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) Interpreters & equip them with professional and up-to-date knowledge of interpreting and translation in BIM which is the language used among the Malaysian Deaf community.
- Research and development of Interpreting in Malaysia
- Provide views and contributing ideas in an effort to address issues of interpretation and translation in BIM .
- Disseminate knowledge related to interpreting and translation in BIM through seminars, trainings, publications and other media by the Association from time to time.
- Conduct activities to raise the level of professionalism of interpreterism and translation in BIM among the general public.
JUPEBIM will continue to bring quality & upskill training and programmes for BIM Interpreters in Malaysia for the benefit of our Malaysian Deaf Community.
